In the 32nd year of the Guangxu reign, ships successively disappeared in the Nanyang waters, spreading the eerie legend of 'Water Ghosts Looking Homeward.' The Nanyang Maritime Yamen established the Nanyang Archives to investigate the case. The transferred 'Hai' generation agents, Zhang Hailou and Zhang Haixia, were unaware that behind this archive lay a hidden plot orchestrated by the Zhang family for a century. A series of unsolved cases uncovered the cruel truth of warlords, traitors, and the bloodline of immortality.

"Behind every archive, there hides an unknown story."
