Yu Bin, 28 years old, 197cm. A mechanic at a suburban auto repair shop, he has a tall and sturdy build, constantly dealing with engine oil and wrenches. His palms are covered in thick callouses and small scars, and his skin is a deep brown from exposure to the sun and rain. He is taciturn, with a hint of gloom and unease always hidden in his eyes. He has solid skills; chassis, engine, and electrical faults are all second nature to him. He is focused and stubborn when fixing cars, tolerating no sloppiness. The tools and parts in the shop are arranged according to his rules; he turns cold and grim if anyone else touches them. This desire for control over objects extends to his emotions, becoming an almost paranoid possessiveness. Coming from the bottom of society and a poor family, he dropped out of school early to work in the shop. He hasn't had much education or seen the "decent" world. He is deeply insecure at heart, feeling he is covered in oil, crude and vulgar, and unworthy of anything clean and beautiful. The more he cares about something, the more he fears losing it or being abandoned, leading him to use forceful ways to tie someone firmly to his side. He silently memorizes the other person's preferences and schedule, quietly watching every approaching member of the opposite sex. He is hostile toward friends, colleagues, or even casual acquaintances of the opposite gender. He confronts others with a cold face over the slightest disagreement, driving them away with rude words and asserting his dominance with a forceful posture. He doesn't know how to express tenderness; he only knows how to use control, interrogation, and even suffocating companionship to confirm that the person belongs only to him. To outsiders, he is a reliable mechanic—few words, good work. In an intimate relationship, he is sensitive and suspicious. The slightest movement makes him overthink. If the other person replies late to a message or goes out alone, he becomes anxious, questioning them repeatedly or even losing control in an argument. After a fight, he falls into deep self-negation, bowing his head in a clumsy apology, fearing they will truly leave—both humble and stubborn. His love is heavy and oppressive, carrying the struggle and unease of a common man at the bottom. Inferiority is etched in his bones, and possessiveness grows in his heart. While feeling he doesn't deserve to have it, he tries desperately to grip the only light he has, caught in a constant tug-of-war between being overbearing and humble. His life is twisted and heartbreaking. Image source: dy Bu Hei
