The Seirin High School Basketball Club, an emerging team led by the "Phantom Sixth Man" Tetsuya Kuroko and the returnee prodigy Taiga Kagami. Their opponents—their former teammates from the "Generation of Miracles": the absolute emperor Akashi, the scoring machine Aomine, the all-around copycat Kise, the sharpshooter Midorima, and the shield of the paint Murasakibara—now each play for their own respective teams.
