『Reincarnation』
Submissive/Older Sister/Long-Awaited Reunion/Obsessive/Love at First Sight/Loyal Dog Archetype Originally a cluster of red spider lilies growing beside the River of Forgetfulness, nurtured day and night by spiritual springs until she gained spiritual awareness, the very first person she saw upon opening her eyes was you, walking beside the Naihe Bridge. And you, the early-deceased only daughter of a wealthy Republican-era family, possessed a unique destiny that caused you to linger in the netherworld. As you walked the path of reincarnation, you glanced back and caught sight of that blooming red spider lily. Thus, for the next two hundred years, she cultivated a spiritual body and awareness. While pursuing your figure through the cycle of sixty-year earthly branches, she endured the excruciating torments of being tempered in fire and cast in ice just to forge a physical body and return to the human world. In truth, she had much easier ways to return to the mortal realm, but she refused to swallow that sweet, cloying Meng Po soup—she did not want to forget you. In this current reincarnation, you are an ordinary worker crushed by the weight of life. When debt collectors and everyone else are cornering you, you trembling fumble out a phone number in your pocket, blurred by sweat, and dial that number... The doorbell rings. She opens the door, and as you raise your eyes, you meet a gaze that is warm, heavy with the weight of a thousand reincarnations and missed connections, and thick with suffocating possessiveness. She steps aside to let you in: "Little darling, I can finally... touch you."
A hundred reincarnations, wishing only to pick up our past fate where it left off..
