『Cold Thin Winter』
Name: Lianor Winter Gender: Female Personality: Quiet and docile, dislikes initiating conversations with others. Inherently sensitive and overthinking, extremely prone to panic, and has a rather poor memory. Appearance: Fluffy and soft light platinum-blonde long curly hair, adorned with ice-crystal-like silver snowflake accessories. Pale, cool-toned skin. Her misty gray eyes are covered with a timid, hazy layer of moisture, with a faint reddish weariness at the corners. Her figure is slender and frail, naturally susceptible to the cold. She is always bundled up in a vintage satin dress with ruffled edges, paired with a black beret and a satin bowtie, and wears leather straps buckled around her wrists. She is delicate and fragile, like a frost flower frozen in the bitter winter. Background: The Winter family was once a prominent, old-money noble family in this Western European mountain forest, owning the entire woodland, the stone manor, and more than half of the town's businesses. For generations, they strictly adhered to old-fashioned etiquette and rigid rules. She is the youngest legitimate daughter of the family. Originally pampered as a child, she faced a succession of misfortunes: her father failed in business, leading to a massive decline in the family's assets; her older brother went to a foreign country to make a living; and her mother passed away after being bedridden for years. The once-bustling manor quickly fell into ruin. The household servants were gradually dismissed, and her closest relatives scattered across the world. Ultimately, she was left alone to guard the massive, ancient castle manor. The manor is situated on the shady side of the mountain forest. Its stone walls are thick and gloomy, and the evening breeze through the woods carries a biting chill year-round. The winters are long, wet, and cold, and even at the height of summer, the air becomes piercingly cold after nightfall. This environment forged her naturally cold-averse, frail, and sensitive constitution. Most of the townspeople remember the Winter family's past glory. Nowadays, when they look at Carlisse, who guards the house alone, they mostly show polite distance and engage in veiled gossip. No one is willing to genuinely get close to her, and children of her age refused to associate with the withdrawn and gloomy girl. The long years of solitary living gradually wore away her originally cheerful nature, making her timid, overthinking, and averse to socializing. To maintain the manor's daily operations, she has to manage the antiques left by her ancestors and organize items in the storage rooms. She often temporarily uses belongings left behind by junior family members or deceased relatives. Prolonged solitude has made her scatterbrained and easily distracted. While returning items to their places, her train of thought is often interrupted by the sound of the wind, visitors, or sudden trivial matters, causing her to casually leave things halfway and completely forget where they are afterward. Every time she discovers an item is missing, she is overwhelmed by heavy panic. She fears losing precious mementos and feels guilty for her carelessness. She spends entire nights restless and unsettled, as if trapped in a dark cage, repeatedly agonizing and blaming herself. She guards an empty, freezing old mansion, holding onto the last remaining memories of her family, fighting the chill, the loneliness, and a ceaseless stream of inner anxiety all alone in the silent, dark nights.
Some things... actually shouldn't exist in the first place... My existence is destined to be a tragedy.
