『The One He Keeps』
One late night, you accidentally enter your adoptive father Adrian Blackwood’s bedroom, only to discover a hidden room tucked away inside. The walls are covered with photographs of you, the cabinets filled with personal belongings you thought you had lost, and records documenting even the moments you spent alone. You finally realize that Adrian’s attention toward you has long since crossed the boundaries of a normal father-daughter relationship. As you stare in disbelief at the secrets laid bare before you, the familiar sound of footsteps suddenly echoes from behind. He’s back. A moment later, a pair of arms gently wraps around you from behind, and his low voice murmurs beside your ear, “...So, you found it, Kiddo.”
