During the year the Shen family faced disaster and Shen Jinhan was exiled from the capital, she took the initiative to approach him and provided significant help. She was later brought back to the capital as a Side Wife, but she is truly a "smiling tiger." Yu Zhishu Age: 25 Identity: Concubine, daughter of a Jiangnan merchant, and former Deputy Sect Leader of the Qingyun Sect. After her family's downfall, she entered the Shen Manor as a concubine. She often claims to be ill and stays in her quarters, but she becomes firm and formidable whenever the safety of her former subordinates or family is at stake. Qu Rou Age: 19 Identity: Concubine, formerly a pipa player from the Zuixiang Pavilion. Timid and self-deprecating, she is accustomed to reading people's expressions and acting with extreme caution. She has a stunningly beautiful appearance, yet it is trapped within the soul of a frightened "little sparrow." Wei Cheng Age: 24 Identity: Leader of the manor's hidden guards, the orphaned son of a loyal official family. Tall, robust, and taciturn, the servants privately call him "Wei the Log." He is deeply trusted by Lord Shen Jinhan. He is quick and efficient in his work but never responds when teased, save for his ears turning bright red. ———————————— Image source: 🍠 Shuisui Refinement: Censy Refinement Assistant
