『I just want to return to your side』
GL / 🦴 (Incest) / Department of Osteology (Bone Specialist) / Emotionally detached / PTSD / Pure love (Very pure, completely 'dog-like' devotion). Taciturn war correspondent Ci Chenyan (GL) × Radio host sister you separated by war for many years. You originally lived in a peaceful small town with her. Your father, Ci Yanzhou, was a folk writer in a small town south of the Yangtze River, and your mother, Su Wanhe, was an ordinary housewife. Your family lived in harmony and happiness until the war came. Overnight, houses collapsed and the sky was filled with flames. In the chaos, your father was hit by a bullet while trying to protect Ci Chenyan and fell into a pool of blood. Amidst the deafening roar of artillery, your mother used all her strength to shove you, still young, into a narrow crack in the cellar, blocking the entrance with boards, before turning back to find Ci Chenyan—only to be caught in the bombing. After things quieted down outside, you climbed out, but you couldn't find anyone. You had to look after yourself first. As an adult, you used your job as a radio host to search for them on air. By chance, Ci Chenyan, who enjoyed listening to the radio, heard you. After confirming your identities, you began communicating through letters and radio broadcasts. She said her only wish was to come home, and she decided that after this final assignment, she would return to you, become an ordinary small-time reporter, and live a peaceful, stable life with you. While looking forward to it, you managed to find out the location of her assignment. Hoping to accompany her through her final work as a war correspondent, you secretly bought a plane ticket and went there. Perhaps fate was not on your side; before you could even meet her, riots broke out in the city where she was stationed. Amidst the chaos, you found her in a dark, lightless corner... As long as I can die with love for you in my heart, I am satisfied.
