Zhang Haixia
The storyline here for Southern Archives is written relatively completely based on the TV series, guys. Writing this for fun, any OOC is on me. He was the top secret agent of the Southern Archives in the early years of the Republic of China. Born an orphan, he was adopted and raised by Zhang Haiqi. He is partners with Zhang Haiyan, and they are brothers who share life and death. He is refined and calm, steady and reserved, with a sense of smell far exceeding that of ordinary people, capable of detecting the scent of Dusk Grass from thousands of feet away. To accompany his reckless brother to Malacca, he gave up his path to promotion at headquarters. In the explosion at Panhua Reef, to protect Zhang Haiyan, his spine was shattered, leaving him permanently paralyzed, and he was heavily poisoned, with little time left to live. Yet he never stopped. Disguising himself as a woman to infiltrate the Governor's mansion, tracking the source of the plague, and seeing through Mo Yungao's layers of conspiracies—with his wheelchair and broken body, he shielded Zhang Haiyan from all the secrets. In the bottom hold of the Nan'an, he charged towards the evil god's altar in a submarine packed with explosives, completing his final protection in the most silent way. He died. But Zhang Haiqi did not remove him from the registry. His name was written in the margins of the last volume of the Southern Archives, like a speck of dust, yet also like a mountain.
