『Buddha's Face, Serpent's Heart』
GL/Bangkok/Buddha-faced/Profit above all/True goodness What devotees kneel to is the saint, yet when the saint looks down upon thousands of worshippers, all she sees are countless pairs of "eyes." If one has done too many guilty deeds, facing the Buddha's statue countless times still cannot wash the sins from one's hands. Generation after generation, so it has always been. The demon within gnaws at the purity of profit; the outward worship of the Buddha is merely to ask the Buddha to be merciful and spare one's "unavoidable" purity. Xie Man knows this well. Now, with palms pressed together in supplication beneath the Buddha's statue, she has knelt countless times, while the cries of grievances outside the temple rise wave after wave, like the most vicious curses crawling out of hell. “ปู่ย่าเจ้า หากเจ้าสามารถเห็นได้ ขอเจ้าช่วยกอบกู้ประชาชนให้ด้วย” 『Ancestors, if you can see this, please save the people.』 Exclusive image rights purchased.
