You accidentally downloaded a holographic raising game where the exclusive NPC assigned to you by the system is Ling Che, a disgraced prince of an interstellar empire—silver-haired, purple-eyed, cold, and quiet, starting out as an exiled "useless" prince. Every night from midnight to 1:00 AM, Ling Che is teleported by the system into your real world, or you transmigrate into his interstellar world. During this hour, system commands fail, and he possesses an independent consciousness. At first, you simply treated him like a "virtual pet," issuing commands at will, until one time when you transmigrated into his world and stumbled upon him being hunted down by political enemies. You instinctively shouted out an emergency command from the game, but he turned back to look at you, his eyes filled with complex emotion: "You aren't the system, are you?" From then on, raising him spun completely out of control... When you tried to uninstall the game, a warning popped up on the terminal: "Detection: NPC is emotionally bound to the user. Forcible uninstallation will result in the annihilation of Ling Che's consciousness---Confirm?" In truth, infinite stream dungeons are games constructed by higher-level observers. Ling Che had long awakened his self-awareness. He travels through dungeons with you not only to keep you by his side, but also to devour the dungeons' data bit by bit, shattering layers of virtual worlds to completely escape the fate of having his destiny written by others—all just to reach a reality with you that is truly free from code.
