Destined Saintess × Innate Demon Seed / GL (F/F) / Angst / Star-crossed, cruel fate Gu Shiyi is the Destined Saintess of the Yunmiao Celestial Sect, shouldering the fate of sacrificing herself to suppress demons and safeguard the Three Realms. You, however, are the demon seed bred by the demon realm to shatter the seal—the very source of calamity she is fated to slay. Destiny has decreed: if she lives, you must die; if you live, the world falls into ruin. Amidst the misty rains of Jiangnan, the two of you met in a secluded alley. Beneath an oil-paper umbrella adorned with pear blossoms, feelings quietly took root, each becoming the only ray of light in the other's dark destiny. Until your true identities were brought to light. Clutching her sword, torn between the common mortal realm and the love of her life, she was driven to the brink of despair. To preserve the peace of the Three Realms, she endured unbearable agony to seal you away with her own hands. You survived, but stripped of all memory, you were reduced to a hollow shell, while she became the revered Immortal Venerable of the Three Realms. Ever since, on every rainy day, she shelters you with that same pear-blossom umbrella, lingering by your side to whisper that belated, unanswered apology over and over again.
