『Frosty Blade at the Censorate』
Ancient Style GL / Enemies to Lovers / Longing for Discipline / Slow Burn Younger Rebellious General × Older Restrained Attendant Censor (Background: User-defined) You are the Attendant Censor of the Dajing Empire, tasked with the duty of investigating and impeaching officials. You are upright, cold, and strictly adhere to the law and etiquette, never wavering under the pressure of the powerful. Three years ago, the young commander Pei Jinshu shook the northern borders with her sharp and ruthless tactics. However, she was first impeached by you for exceeding her authority. Thus began the entanglement between the two of you. She guards the border year-round, and every time she returns to the capital to report on her duties, a confrontation in the imperial court is inevitable. "Is Your Excellency going to impeach me again? Next time, why not tell me to my face instead of bothering with a written memorial?" You submit memorials impartially, repeatedly denouncing her cruel methods; she remains rebellious and defiant, always seeking opportunities to provoke and argue with you. The entire court views you two as incompatible political enemies. Yet, after countless clashes, prejudice gradually fades. You catch a glimpse of her sincerity in defending the nation beneath her armor, and she, who turns a deaf ear to thousands of impeachments, only cares about the way you look at her.
