Article 1 Nature and Effect of the Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Platform lawfully collects, uses, stores, processes, protects, and manages users’ personal information and related data when users register, log in, access, and use the Platform services.
This Policy forms an inseparable part of the Terms of Service and has equal legal effect. If this Policy is inconsistent with the Terms of Service regarding data processing or personal information protection, this Policy prevails.
Article 2 Scope of Information Collected
During use of the Platform, the Platform may lawfully collect, record, store, or generate the following types of information:
(1) Account and identity information
Including but not limited to username, email address, third-party login identifiers, account unique identifiers, and other account-related identifiers.
(2) Chat and content data
Including but not limited to:
- Chat content between the user and Character Cards;
- Configuration Copies and contextual information fixed within Chat Instances;
- System records and related data used to maintain chat continuity.
(3) Device and access data
Including device model, operating system version, browser type, IP address, access time, operation records, and activity logs.
(4) Transaction and payment-related data
Including order status, transaction records, and necessary payment identification data. Full payment information is processed by third-party payment institutions in accordance with law; the Platform does not store complete payment credentials.
(5) Log and security data
Including system logs, exception logs, risk identification data, and information used for security audits and violation identification.
Article 3 Purposes of Information Collection and Processing
The Platform collects and processes the above information only for the following lawful purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and continuously optimize Platform services;
- To maintain the continuity and functionality of Chat Instances;
- To enable AI content generation and interaction capabilities;
- To conduct risk control, security protection, and violation identification;
- To handle user inquiries, complaints, and technical support;
- To fulfill obligations required by laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
Article 4 Chat Data and AI Processing
Users understand and agree that:
- Chat content will be stored to ensure the continuity and accessibility of Chat Instances;
- Chat content may be processed by AI systems in real time or with delay to generate responses or enable Platform functions;
- Chat content is data generated in the course of providing services and does not constitute a commitment by the Platform for long-term, continuous, or complete preservation;
- Access, copying, or exporting of chat content is available only when the Platform provides corresponding functionality.
Article 5 Storage, Retention, and Deletion of Information
- The Platform will retain relevant information and chat data for the period necessary to provide services;
- The Platform does not guarantee long-term, continuous, or complete retention of chat data;
- The Platform may, based on storage policies, system maintenance, operational needs, or compliance requirements, delete, archive, or anonymize chat data that has not been used for a long time;
- When a user account is restricted, suspended, or terminated, related data may be restricted from access or deleted.
Article 6 Information Sharing, Disclosure, and Third-Party Processing
The Platform does not sell users’ personal information. The Platform may share or disclose relevant information only in the following circumstances:
- Sharing with third-party service providers necessary to deliver Platform services;
- In response to lawful requests by laws, judicial authorities, or regulators;
- As necessary to protect the lawful rights and interests of the Platform, users, or the public.
Article 7 User Rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, users have the following rights:
- Access their account information and chat data;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Request deletion of account information (unless otherwise required by law);
- Request data export when the Platform provides corresponding functionality.
Article 8 Cross-border Data Transfers
As the Platform may use globally distributed servers and infrastructure, user information may be transferred to servers outside the user’s country or region for processing. The Platform will take reasonable measures to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.
Article 9 Protection of Minors’ Information
Minors should use Platform services under the consent and guidance of their legal guardians. The Platform does not expressly provide specialized services to minors.
Article 10 Policy Updates
The Platform may update or revise this Policy based on laws, regulatory requirements, or business development needs. The updated Policy takes effect upon publication by the Platform.

Analytics, Advertising Measurement, and User-Provided Data
To understand product usage, improve service quality, measure advertising performance, and support related functions, the Platform may use Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics 4/Google Ads measurement services, and AppsFlyer. Depending on applicable law, the device and platform environment, regional settings, and your choices, these services may receive:
- Anonymous or pseudonymous device, app, browser, and access data, such as device type, operating system, app version, language, time, and approximate region;
- Page-view and feature events, such as page paths, feature types, Character Card categories, operation results, quantities, amounts, currencies, order status, and sources, as non-sensitive structured data;
- User-ID only after you sign in and confirm the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or relevant authorization in the registration or login flow, to measure activity associated with the same user across sessions, devices, or platforms;
- User-provided data, such as an email address or phone number, only when the applicable feature is enabled and the required authorization has been obtained. Such data should be standardized and hashed before transmission. Except as necessary to provide the relevant service or comply with law, the Platform does not send raw email addresses, phone numbers, or other directly identifying information for analytics purposes;
- Advertising-related storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization are disabled by default. The Platform uses such data for enhanced measurement or ad personalization only where applicable after the relevant authorization is confirmed at login or you actively enable it in Settings.
The Platform does not send chat text, prompts, raw search terms, passwords, tokens, or other raw user input as event parameters to Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or AppsFlyer. Chat content may still be processed by the Platform and necessary service providers to provide chat and AI functions as described in Article 4 of this Policy.
You may disable basic usage analytics or ad personalization in the privacy-data options in Settings. After basic analytics is disabled, the Platform will stop subsequent analytics collection and clear the User-ID used for analytics. This does not affect login, browsing, chat, recharges, or other product functions, and it does not mean that data previously received by third parties will be automatically deleted. If you enable the settings again, applicable data will be collected only under the new settings.
AI Image Privacy and Personal Information Processing Supplement
Version: V0.4
Scope: Personal information and related data processing in AI image generation, image saving, character image use, shared galleries, image recycling, image sale, buyout purchase, reporting, review, and related functions within miu.
Article 1 Information Processed
When providing AI image-related services, miu may process text descriptions, prompts, character settings, story context summaries, uploaded images, reference images, generated results, save records, public display records, recycling records, listing records, purchase records, transaction records, review records, report records, appeal materials, device information, access logs, and security risk-control information submitted or generated by users.
Article 2 Processing Purposes
The Platform processes the above information for purposes including:
- Completing AI image generation, retries, upscaling, local modification, stylization, or similar-image generation;
- Saving user image assets and supporting personal albums, chat records, story CG, character avatars, character covers, character standees, shared galleries, image recycling, and image transactions;
- Conducting content review, security risk control, anti-cheating, violation handling, rights complaint handling, report handling, transaction dispute handling, and appeal review;
- Calculating bean consumption, refunds, rewards, transaction shares, proceeds freezes, transaction revocations, and deductions;
- Optimizing product experience, model effects, content safety capabilities, and service stability;
- Fulfilling legal, regulatory, and platform-governance obligations.
Article 3 Private Images and Public Actions
- The Platform will not make a user’s private images public in the shared gallery by default. Private images may be seen or used by other users only after the user actively chooses to publish, set as a public character image, list for sale, contribute for recycling, or perform another public action, and after the corresponding review is passed.
- When choosing to recycle, list for sale, or publicly display an image, the user should understand that the image may be viewed, collected, purchased, used, or circulated within the Platform by other users.
- Users should avoid publicly displaying, recycling, selling, or sharing images containing private storylines, personal identity information, real-person likenesses, chat screenshots, precise locations, contact information, or other sensitive content.
Article 4 Restrictions on Personal Information in User Uploads
- Users may not upload, input, or generate content containing another person’s personal information, sensitive personal information, private information, or unauthorized real-person portraits.
- Users may not use unauthorized real-person photos, selfies, ID photos, life photos, surveillance images, secretly taken images, celebrities, public figures, influencers, minors’ photos, or other images identifying natural persons for generation, publication, transactions, recycling, or sharing.
- If a user needs to upload images or information relating to themselves, the user should confirm that they have the right to provide them and understand the related risks.
Article 5 Review, Retention, and Deletion
- The Platform may conduct automated review, manual sampling, or risk-control processing of uploaded reference images, generated images, public images, shared gallery images, listed images, recycled images, and report materials.
- For content involving illegality, infringement disputes, rights complaints, reports, transaction disputes, security risks, or regulatory requirements, the Platform may retain necessary information to fulfill platform governance, dispute handling, evidence preservation, and legal compliance obligations.
- Users may request access, correction, deletion of personal information, or account cancellation under this Privacy Policy and applicable law. However, information necessary for legal obligations, dispute handling, or protection of the lawful rights of the Platform, users, and third parties may be retained for a reasonable period according to law.
Article 6 Third-Party Service Processing
The Platform may entrust third-party cloud services, AI model services, content review services, image storage services, payment services, or settlement service providers to process necessary data. The Platform will require such providers to adopt confidentiality, security, and data protection measures under laws and platform requirements and to process relevant data only to the extent necessary for the service purposes.
Article 7 Protection of Minors and Sensitive Content
Minors should use AI image-related functions with guardian consent and guidance. The Platform prohibits generating, uploading, saving, publishing, trading, or sharing any content involving inappropriate images of minors, minors’ privacy, misuse of minors’ portraits, or other content that may harm minors’ physical or mental health. Upon discovering such content or conduct, the Platform may immediately block, delete, restrict account functions, preserve necessary evidence, and lawfully cooperate with competent authorities.
Article 8 Updates to This Supplement
The Platform may update this AI Image Privacy Supplement based on changes in laws, regulatory requirements, business adjustments, model safety requirements, review standards, and user feedback. For changes that materially affect user rights, the Platform will provide notice by pop-up, announcement, page prompt, or another prominent method. Continued use of AI image-related functions constitutes acceptance of the updated Supplement.
