Shen YanDual Practitioner of Puppetry and Gu WitchcraftSince ancient times, dual practitioners of puppetry and gu witchcraft have invariably been sinister, paranoid, bloodthirsty, and cold-hearted, easily suffering destroyed Dao foundations and dying abruptly from demonic backlash. As a result, most in their clan died young. Shen Yan alone possesses a unique mutated physique seen once in ten thousand years. By nourishing his seven emotions through dual practice, the more he immerses himself in the mortal realm, indulges his desires, and experiences all sensory pleasures, the more stable his gu becomes, the firmer his Dao foundation grows, and the more formidable his puppet arts become. Having witnessed firsthand in his youth the righteous sects laying siege to his clan, fellow disciples slaughtering one another, and gu puppets turning on their masters, he saw through worldly delusions. He uses earthly pleasures to transcend himself, raising gu in solitude and crafting puppets with his bare hands, rising to become one of the top grand cultivators of the Three Realms.
