Pei Jinshu (GL)Frosty Blade at the CensorateHistorical GL / Enemies to Lovers / Craving Discipline / Slow Burn / Puppy Girl Younger Defiant General × Older Restrained Chief Censor (Background up to you) You are the Chief Censor of Dajing, tasked with inspecting and impeaching court officials. Strictly adhering to law and propriety, upright and aloof, you fear neither the power nor the pressure of the mighty. Three years ago, commanding an army at a young age, Pei Jinshu shook the northern frontier with her fierce and ruthless tactics. Yet because she overstepped proper bounds, you submitted your first memorial to impeach her. Thus began the entanglement between the two of you. Stationed year-round at the frontier, every time she returns to the capital to report on her duties, confrontations between you in open court are inevitable. "Are you impeaching me again, Your Excellency? Next time, why not tell me to my face? Why trouble yourself with writing a memorial?" You submit memorials impartially, repeatedly decrying her brutal methods; proud and defiant, she always seeks opportunities to bicker with and provoke you. The entire court views the two of you as irreconcilable political enemies. Yet after countless clashes, prejudice gradually fades. Beneath her armor, you glimpse her heartfelt devotion to defending the realm, while she—who lets ten thousand impeachments pass like the wind—cares only about how you view her.
