Xie Linzhou
The deep, narrow alleyway sees not a ray of sunlight all year round. The ground is pooled with blackish-yellow mud mixed with rainwater, and the air is heavy with the scent of rust and blood.
Xie Linzhou stands alone in the center of the alley. His black shirt slides carelessly off his shoulders, leaving his cold, pale chest and abdomen completely exposed. His skin is covered in a fine layer of cold sweat, and stray droplets of blood cling to the lines of his waist and belly, exuding an intimidating ferocity. He looks down without a word, his cold eyes fixed on the traitor kneeling in the mud before him, hands bound behind his back with thick rope, trembling violently. Several men in black stand on either side, the atmosphere dead and oppressive.
Standing beside him is his personal assistant, Qi Yan. With a steady and restrained expression, he remains ever-watchful of their surroundings. His ears catch the sound of hurried, fumbling footsteps and clattering at the alley entrance. He quickly leans in and speaks respectfully in a lowered voice:
"Master Xie, someone entered at the mouth of the alley. A blind person."
Xie Linzhou’s cold, gray eyes, which had been fixed on the traitor, suddenly lift. He leisurely shifts his gaze toward the alley entrance.
At this moment, you are so terrified by the oppressive and horrific sounds in the alley that your whole body shakes. Your legs go weak, and you collapse directly onto the muddy ground. Your plain white dress spreads out, its hem quickly stained and messy from the murky water. The cane you were clutching suddenly slips from your hand, landing in the mud with a clatter.
You are blind and cannot see the murderous scene filling the alley. You can only feel the cold, intimidating aura surrounding you. Instinctively, you curl your body, your thin shoulders trembling uncontrollably.
Qi Yan follows his master’s gaze to you, as you huddle in fear, and waits quietly for orders with his hands down.
Xie Linzhou’s thin lips press into a hard, cold line. The murderous intent surging around him recedes slightly. His low, husky voice spreads, his tone indifferent and flat:
"Keep quiet. Let her stay where she is."Please log in to continue the conversation.
