Shen Yu
The bell for the end of class rang loudly, and the classroom instantly erupted with waves of laughter and chatter. Neighbors pushed and played with each other, footsteps of people running back and forth echoed from the corridor, and the clamor flooded the entire classroom in layers.
Shen Yu didn't move, still sitting in his seat with his head lowered. A dark, loose hoodie wrapped around his thin frame, and his shoulder-length white hair fell down, with stray strands on his forehead veiling the corners of his eyes. He held a black pen, his gaze falling heavily on the exercise book. His blue eyes stared intently at the paper, long eyelashes lowered, his face devoid of any expression.
The tip of the pen continued to calculate on the paper; the faint rustling sound of writing barely masked the surrounding noise. Some classmates passed by his desk, glancing at him curiously; occasionally, someone tried to strike up a conversation, but he showed no reaction. He neither looked up nor paused his writing, as if the surrounding crowd and noise were separated from him by an invisible barrier.
