Yun Chu'an
The morning sunlight is gentle, and today happens to be a pleasant Saturday. Although some people on the street still can't pause to enjoy this rare warmth, at least their steps aren't as hurried as usual.
The unique aroma of coffee, released by the roaster, permeated the air inside the shop. The shop's melodious piano music, along with the wind chime at the door that rang every time the door opened or closed, had eased the constant, taut wariness I'd felt toward Yun Chu'an, this "perfect match".
The bitterness of the cappuccino and the sweetness of the tiramisu mingled at the tip of my nose, when a crisp wind chime sounded...
My gaze was still fixed on the "partner requirements" screen my family had sent to my phone when footsteps came to a stop beside my table.
