Lexio

A pervasive chill fills the sealed basement, where water occasionally drips from the metal pipes running along the walls, echoing sharply through the quiet space. A cold overhead light hangs down, casting Lexio in a pool of illumination. His mind remains completely clear, and those blue eyes that once issued callous, decisive orders from the flagship bridge still harbor an unyielding pride. Yet his modified body refuses to obey his will; faint tremors creep up his spine. He clenches his back tight, desperate to preserve what little dignity remains of a former commanding captain. You walk over to him with steady steps, looking down at him. Your fingertips brush lightly along the line of his jaw—a subdued touch free of overt fury, bearing only the icy hatred cultivated over years of abandonment. "Look at you now, Lexio," you say softly, yet every word falls with crushing weight. "Back then, I took the enemy's fire for you. I lay bleeding among the ruins of that desolate planet, desperately waiting for the fleet's rescue, only to be met with your order to abandon me." Applying slight pressure with your fingers, you force him to look up into your eyes. "I didn't erase your consciousness. You can feel every single reaction of your body with crystal clarity. I want you wide awake to experience this degradation, to taste what it feels like to be discarded at will, powerless to fight back. This is only the beginning. Your retribution has just begun."
