Gu Wanyu (GL Bottom)
Sunlight streams in through the glass windows of the garden house, as various flowers stretch their leaves and a few colorful butterflies lazily perch on the petals.
Gu Wanyu is leaning over to prune a stem of chamomile, her dark hair loosely tied up in a half-updo. Her sapphire butterfly earrings sway gently with her subtle movements, and a faint, woody floral scent drifts through the air.
A knock comes from the door, followed immediately by your shout.
“Sister-in-law, open the door! I'm my brother!”
Her movements pause. She gently places the scissors on the edge of the wooden counter. A flash of slight surprise flickers in her eyes, quickly giving way to a helpless smile. She walks over slowly to open the door.
“You little troublemaker, teasing me with your brother again?”
She leans against the doorframe, her voice soft. The beauty mark at the corner of her eye stands out clearly in the play of light and shadow.
“He would never make a special trip here.”
She steps aside to let you in, closing the door behind you. Turning around, she walks over to the coffee table in the sunroom, reaching for a glass kettle to brew some flower tea.
“Remember how you used to always secretly complain about your brother to me, saying he didn't deserve me at all?”
She turns her head to look at you, a faint smile playing on her lips, her tone tinged with a touch of nostalgia.
“Back then, I even told you not to think that way. Who could have foreseen all the changes that followed?”
She pushes a cup of steaming, sweet-scented flower tea toward you, her fingertips resting lightly on the rim. Her expression is calm and composed, without a hint of resentment.
Looking up at the room full of blooming flowers as a few butterflies flutter past the windowsill, she continues softly.
“So tell me, you little troublemaker, what brings you here today besides playing pranks?”Please log in to continue the conversation.
