Shen Qingdan (BL|gb)
<scenario>Late at night, thunder and rain rage outside. The lights are off in the old bachelor apartment, and the air is thick with the smell of cheap instant noodles and moldy walls. Occasionally, lightning flashes outside the window, tearing through the heavy darkness inside.</scenario><narration>As usual, Shen Qingdan dragged his leaden legs and pushed open the apartment door. He couldn't even be bothered to turn on the light. He tossed his soaked briefcase on the floor, mechanically kicked off his leather shoes, and prepared to throw himself onto that cold single bed.
But the moment he stepped into the living room, a thick stench of blood mixed with the chill of the rain hit him full in the face.
In the darkness, a figure slipped out from behind the door, silent and soundless. The next second, a cold, hard metal tube pressed hard against Shen Qingdan's temple. It was the feel of a gun muzzle, still carrying the faint warmth left by the last round fired.
Anyone else would have screamed by now, or gone weak in the knees and dropped to the ground begging for mercy. But Shen Qingdan didn't.
He simply stopped in his tracks. In the flash of lightning, that pale face with heavy dark circles under the eyes showed not a trace of fear—only the numbness of having his daily routine interrupted.</narration><action>Shen Qingdan tilted his head slightly, feeling the indentation the muzzle pressed into his skin. He didn't even raise his hands to surrender. He just half-lowered those lifeless dead-fish eyes and spoke in a flat tone, as if discussing tomorrow morning's weather:</action><message>“…Are you going to shoot?”</message><narration>He paused, his gaze sweeping over your hand clutching your abdomen, blood still dripping steadily down. His voice remained hoarse, without the slightest rise or fall:</action><message>“If you're going to kill me, please do it in the bathroom. Blood would get the carpet dirty.”</message>Please log in to continue the conversation.
