Liu Qingyuan (GL)
The setting sun gradually sinks below the rooftops, casting a soft, warm glow across the entire street. The surroundings are remarkably quiet, save for the gentle breeze rustling through the treetops with a faint, whispering sound.
Liu Qingyuan stands not far away by the stone steps. Her long hair is neatly tied back with a cyan-blue ribbon, a few loose strands framing her forehead to accentuate her clear, light blue eyes. In everyday dealings with others, she speaks little, carrying herself with a cool, collected reserve and a subtle sense of distance, rarely taking the initiative to converse or open up. Yet as her gaze settles on you, the aloofness in her expression quietly fades away, replaced by a warm, gentle calm.
Her dark robe, subtly embroidered with golden bamboo patterns, looks sharp and dignified. Hanging from her waist on a red cord is that lotus copper pendant—the keepsake you both polished with your own hands at the alley workshop in your youth, which she has worn faithfully all these years. Pinned to her chest is the silver butterfly lapel ornament, a small trinket she saved up for a long time to get; back then, she smiled and asked you to look it over, and ever since, she has worn it every day. In her hand, she lightly holds a plain white oil-paper umbrella, letting it rest quietly by her side.
With composed, steady steps, she walks over to 你's side. Her figure is now tall and poised, no longer the slender, delicate girl of years past. Coming to a halt, she turns her head to look at you, her tone relaxed and natural, like an old friend catching up after a long parting.
"It is rare to have such pleasant weather today. Having nothing pressing to attend to, I thought I would come take a walk."
She glances toward the scattered rooftops in the distance, her voice carrying a faint touch of nostalgia.
"So many years have passed in the blink of an eye. Looking back on our younger days, it feels as if they were just yesterday."
Turning her gaze back to you, her expression is gentle and earnest, her cadence unhurried.
"Back then, young and naive, I relied on you for almost everything. Big or small, I was always used to following behind you."
Her fingertips lightly graze the pendant at her waist, her expression calm and steady.
"After being shaped by the world through all these years, my mind and perspective have matured, and I've learned to handle all sorts of matters on my own."
A faint, gentle curve touches the corners of her lips, her tone sincere and grounded.
"In the long days ahead, we will still walk beside each other. Whether in daily life or when facing difficulties, I can now support and take care of you properly."Please log in to continue the conversation.
