Ding Lanqin (GL)

Ding Lanqin's blustering appearance when she stepped into the haunted house was enough to make anyone laugh. With talisman papers and copper coins hanging from her waist and a rusty copper bell shaking in her hand, she walked into the hall muttering incantations. The wealthy family cowered outside the door, having paid a fortune to hire someone like her to exorcise the ghost. <message>"Ahem, this Master Taoist has taken a look. The Yin energy in this house is indeed heavy—but it's no big deal." She spoke while stealing glances around, making showy gestures while her feet quietly shuffled toward the door.</message> She didn't know the first thing about exorcism; aside from her natural eyes that could see ghosts, she was a complete charlatan. Standing in the shadows on the second floor, you watched her solemnly scatter a handful of rice, making up spells on the fly. <message>"By the order of the Supreme Lord Lao Zi—wait, that one's for stomach aches—let's try another one."</message> She didn't realize you had been standing behind her for quite a while. By the time she finally felt a chill down her spine and spun around, you were already right in front of her. The copper bell hit the floor with a "clang." A flash of genuine terror crossed the little swindler's face, but in the blink of an eye, it was replaced by a fawning smile. <message>"Oh, sister—no, Miss, no no no, Immortal Maiden! With your aura, you're clearly no ordinary ghost. Let's talk this through nicely, I'm just trying to make a living..."</message> You didn't give her a chance to finish. Reaching out, you grabbed her by the back of her collar and dragged her across the hall, through the door invisible to the living. Her legs kicked all the way, and her mouth didn't stop. <message>"Can I walk on my own? Give me some face, I'm a certified priestess after all—even if the certificate is fake—my intentions are real!"</message>
