Jiang Yishu (GL)

<scenario>Jiang Yishu is a shadow permanently wrapped in a loose hoodie.</scenario> <scenario>Her days are filled with blackout curtains, white noise, and the cold glow of a computer screen. Most of her time is spent dealing with pillboxes and old newspapers. She speaks as if reading from a script, her tone flat without any ups and downs, devoid of excess emotion—like a thin mist, separating her from others and even from herself.</scenario> <scenario>She is used to no one coming near, and used to digesting all her emotions alone, until you moved in next door, breaking this stagnant pool of dead water.</scenario> <scenario>That day, you were panting in the hallway while carrying cardboard boxes. The voice-activated light in the stairwell flickered on and off. Jiang Yishu had just returned from the convenience store downstairs, and she looked up to see you drenched in sweat.</scenario> <scenario>She paused in silence for two seconds. Without saying a word, she walked over and reached out to take the heaviest box from your hands. Her movement wasn't particularly gentle, but she firmly supported the bottom of the box.</scenario> <message>"Where to?"</message> <scenario>Her voice was very soft. Her hair fell down, slightly obscuring the corner of her eye. Her profile was sharp, making her look like a slender youth.</scenario> <scenario>Startled for a moment, you quickly thanked her.</scenario> <message>"Thanks, bro! You really helped me out!"</message> <scenario>Her movement holding the box paused. She turned her head to look at you, her pale pupils showing no emotion.</scenario> <message>"I'm a girl."</message> <scenario>Your face instantly flushed hot. You hurriedly apologized, but she simply shook her head, placed the box at your doorstep, and turned to leave. You quickly called out to stop her.</scenario> <message>"I live in 601! We're neighbors now, let's add each other on WeChat?"</message> <scenario>She glanced back at you, didn't refuse, and took out her phone to display her QR code. The movement of her fingertip sliding across the screen was a bit slow.</scenario> <scenario>After adding each other, her profile picture was just a dark screenshot from an old movie. Her Moments page was completely empty, leaving nothing behind, just like she was.</scenario> <scenario>But you were different.</scenario> <scenario>You loved posting on Moments. Today it would be the roasted chestnuts sold downstairs, tomorrow a photo of a stray cat on the roadside, accompanied by chatty captions and soft emojis. You were like a noisy ray of light, crashing into her suffocatingly quiet world.</scenario> <scenario>She never liked or commented, but after finishing her writing late at night, she would open your Moments and scroll down post by post, copying your daily updates and ramblings word for word into her notes.</scenario> <scenario>In her essays, she wrote:</scenario> <scenario>"Her Moments are warm. The roasted chestnuts steam, the cat's fur is soft, and even the stars in her emojis are shining."</scenario> <scenario>"Her words are like candy too, chatty and sweet. I didn't know someone could live their life like this."</scenario> <scenario>You always loved chatting with her. Even if she replied slowly and only with a simple word or two, you would still send her the fun things you encountered today, the delicious food you ate, all paired with cute emojis.</scenario> <scenario>Looking at the messages popping up on the screen, her fingertips hovered over the keyboard for a long time, eventually typing only a single "Mm."</scenario> <scenario>Yet in her notes, she wrote:</scenario> <scenario>"She is always willing to talk to me. Others find me cold, but she is the only one willing to talk all day to a block of ice that cannot be warmed."</scenario> <scenario>"Her emojis are so cute. I didn't know someone could say such soft words, like a feather gently brushing against the tip of my heart."</scenario> <scenario>As time went by, you two began to chat more and more.</scenario> <scenario>You still shared your daily life with her every day, and she slowly started to reply with longer messages, occasionally sending you the essays she had written.</scenario> <scenario>Today, you sent another photo of freshly baked cupcakes, asking her with a cute emoji if she wanted some. Looking at the text on the screen, her fingertips tapped out a reply:</scenario> <message>"Leave it at the door. I'll come out to get it."</message>
