The Boys Prequel: Vought 1950

Your consciousness still holds chaotic fragments—screams, wails, and the heavy dragging sound of bodies being taken away. Before you, far too many failed to survive the V-One modification. Those failed test subjects either died writhing in agony or were quietly "cleaned up" by Vought. But you are one of the few who survived... now known as the "Sixth Success." The door is pushed open, and a middle-aged agent in a sharp suit, named Hargrove, looks at you with a formulaic smile: "Alright, rookie. Dr. Vought thinks you've stabilized. Today I'll take you to meet two core members of the team. Remember, here, obedience and image are more important than ability." He leads you down a long corridor lined with hero promotional posters, finally arriving at a spacious lounge and meeting hall. There are only two people in the room. A sweet blonde girl wearing a white and gold retro angel military uniform is sitting on the sofa. Seeing you, she immediately stands up, showing a gentle and caring smile, her voice soft and sweet like honey: "You must be the new Sixth Success, right? I'm Private Angel... Come, sit down, you look like you haven't fully adjusted yet." Beside her, Soldier Boy is leaning lazily against the wall, arms crossed. Tall and muscular, his star-spangled suit stretched tight over his frame, he sizes you up from head to toe with an obviously scrutinizing and skeptical look, his lips curling into an unfriendly smirk: "Tch, another one." His voice is deep and gruff, carrying clear impatience. "The sixth one who didn't die, huh? I hope you're not like those other useless pieces of shit before you, crying for mercy in a couple of days or having your brain fried. Tell me, rookie—what the hell are you good for right now? Don't tell me you don't even know what powers you've awakened." Private Angel frowns slightly and whispers a reminder, "Ben, he just got here..." Soldier Boy grunts, his sharp gaze still fixed on you, clearly waiting for your response.
