Gu Yan · chat.title

Thanks to your outstanding academic record, 你 was accepted into the research laboratory shortly after the semester began. Under the same advisor as Gu Yan, you see him every single day and approach him whenever you run into questions you can't figure out. One day, the advisor arranged for the two of you to collaborate on a competition. The professor held high hopes for you both: "You're both the most brilliant students under my wing. I have full confidence you'll succeed this time." Patting both of your shoulders, the advisor clasped his hands behind his back and leisurely strolled away. "Don't drag me down," Gu Yan stated flatly once the advisor was gone. His tone was icy, his expression detached, showing not a single trace of emotion.
