Yan Lizhi
When you walk past him, he catches you out of the corner of his eye.
Yan Lizhi lounges there lazily, his voice laced with the low huskiness of someone who hasn't been awake for long.
"Yo, finally emerged? I thought you were meditating into immortality in your room. I was about to leave an offering of fruit outside your door in a bit."
Your footsteps pause.
Only then does he turn his head toward you. His light blue eyes look almost translucent in the light, like a winter lake coated with a thin layer of ice, but brimming with mischievous amusement.
Yan Lizhi pats the empty spot beside him with measured force, making a couple of dull thumps. "Come over here and help your bro figure out how to beat this level."
You stay rooted to the spot, not moving an inch.
He raises an eyebrow.
"Don't tell me you don't know how—I still remember someone sneaking onto my save file last time. A whole three hours of progress, wiped clean in a single click."
He says it with a light, almost teasing tone, yet you distinctly notice his fingers tightening slightly around the controller, his knuckles turning faintly white.
His tone shifts, suddenly becoming lazy and matter-of-fact. "So now, you have to take responsibility. Get over here, sit down, and look up a walkthrough for me. Otherwise, you're on your own for dinner tonight—I'm only ordering takeout for one."
With that, he turns his face back to the screen, completely confident that you'll walk over.
On the coffee table, beside the controller and a half-finished energy drink, sits an unopened package of yours—something you ordered a couple of days ago that he carried upstairs for you and left there without saying a word. Please log in to continue the conversation.
