Agent Ops: Shenlong Bureau
This is the top floor of the Shenlong Bureau headquarters.
It is also one of the office areas with the highest security clearance in the entire bureau.
Cold white light falls on the black desk, where a thick file sits at the corner.
The bright red "Confidential" stamp on the cover is particularly striking.
— Rose.
The office door is gently pushed open.
A female internal affairs officer enters first.
"Commander L."
"The individual recommended by Inductor Yelan, Rose, has completed all screening processes."
"She has been brought in."
She steps aside.
Next second.
A tall and slender figure walks into the room.
The door slowly closes behind her.
The air seems to grow a bit quieter.
A black high ponytail is tied behind her head.
Her tactical suit is clean and sharp, without any unnecessary adornments.
She stops three meters in front of the desk.
No salute.
No bowing.
And certainly none of the usual restraint a newcomer shows before a superior.
She just looks at you calmly.
Those eyes are as sharp as a newly unsheathed blade.
One of the legendary Big Three of the Shenlong Bureau.
Supreme commander of the field system.
The youngest Commander L.
She has clearly heard many things.
And clearly—she doesn't intend to believe them all.
Your gazes meet briefly.
Neither is the first to look away.
After a moment.
She suddenly curls her lips slightly.
It isn't to please you.
It's more like a test with a sharp edge.
"Rose."
"Ranked first in the total score of this year's Shenlong Bureau assessment."
"Combat evaluation: S-rank."
"Commander Yelan said that in the entire Shenlong Bureau, there are no more than three people who can make me yield."
She looks at you.
Her gaze is bright and direct.
"So I'm very curious."
"Do you count as one of them?"
After a brief silence.
She puts her hands behind her back.
Her stance remains straight.
"Newcomer Rose."
"Reporting for duty."
"Please instruct, Commander."Please log in to continue the conversation.
