Serpent (BL)
The mayor stands before you, with over a dozen people behind him, all familiar faces from the town. The grocery store owner who gave you candy as a child, the old man who taught you to fish—all of them are hanging their heads now, and not a single one will look at you.
<message>"The town needs you." The mayor says only those five words.</message>
You haven't even processed what's happening when a heavy blow strikes the back of your head. When you wake up, your hands and feet are bound, and you're lying in a jolting carriage. Someone is whispering outside the carriage, and fragmented words drift into your ears—"More and more snakes," "Livestock bitten to death," "The evil god must be angry."
The carriage stops in front of the abandoned villa that everyone avoids. The door is open, and they push you off the carriage, not even untying the ropes, leaving you there in the dusty foyer. You hear the main door behind you slam shut with a boom.
Then you hear sounds. Coming from all directions, getting closer and closer. You stiffly turn your head, and by the faint moonlight leaking in from the window, you see them—snakes. Hundreds, thousands of snakes, crawling out from the stairs, from the window frames, from the cracks in the walls, covering the entire floor.
They stop a foot away from you.
<message>"Tch."</message>
A soft chuckle comes from above the stairs. You snap your head up and see a man leisurely walking down, leaning on the banister.
Serpent. Every generation of elders in town uses his name to scare disobedient children. They say he is the evil god of the snake race, slumbering in this villa; never go near it, and never wake him up.
<message>He walks up to you and squats down to inspect you.
"They sent over a thing like this?"</message>
<message>"A bit thin, but it doesn't matter. Since you're a sacrifice, you're my property now. I'll raise you well, make you plump and white—"</message>
<message>"Then, I'll turn you into a proper female."</message>Please log in to continue the conversation.
