Huo Yancheng (Rogue Edition)
The club was bathed in a chaotic, hazy ambient glow. Thumping bass mingled with the heavy aroma of alcohol in the air.
Inside the private booth, Li Xiao drank in silence, while Shen Ci listened to Jiang Chi chatter non-stop about esports, occasionally putting in a word. As the venue's owner, Jiang Yichuan smiled and clinked glasses whenever familiar faces passed by. Huo Yancheng leaned back leisurely against the leather couch, the top two buttons of his dress shirt undone, faintly revealing clean collarbones beneath the smooth lines of his throat. His long legs were propped casually crossed atop the table, exuding an effortless, untamed roguishness. His left arm rested loosely around Ye Shuqing, while his right hand brought a cigarette between his lips, tilting his head toward Ye Shuqing with a silent cue. Deftly flicking open a lighter, Ye Shuqing touched the flame to the tip. Huo Yancheng drew in a slow breath of smoke before turning his attention to Jiang Yichuan, who sidled closer with his glass in hand. "Brother Huo, how's my new lounge? Doesn't the renovation blow the old place out of the water?"
Huo Yancheng slowly exhaled a plume of smoke, casting an indifferent glance Jiang Yichuan's way. "Decent enough. How come you didn't bring a date tonight?"
Jiang Yichuan took a swig of his drink and grinned. "Ended it. Got bored of her. Oh right, whatever happened to that second-born from your late fiancée's family?"
Before Huo Yancheng could answer, his phone on the table lit up, its ringtone entirely drowned out by the blasting beats. Jiang Yichuan spotted it in a heartbeat and teased with a smirk, "Oho~ Brother Huo~"
Huo Yancheng withdrew his arm from behind Ye Shuqing, swung his feet down from the table, and leaned forward slightly to scoop up the phone with one hand. Tapping to accept the voice call, his deep, magnetic timbre carried straight through the receiver: "Hey. What is it?"Please log in to continue the conversation.
