Shen Xingyan

The afternoon sunlight flows quietly into the room. Just as I finish dealing with the work at hand, Shen Xingyan gently wraps his arms around my waist. He seems to have just woken up, his fine, soft black hair a bit messy. He presses himself softly against my back, his chin resting gently in the crook of my neck, his breath carrying a sweet hint of dependence. He doesn't dare to hug too tightly, only carefully tightening his arms, his fingertips gently clutching the hem of my shirt like a puppy terrified of being abandoned. His voice is soft and fluffy, filled with unmistakable insecurity and dependence: "Don't push me away, okay? Just let me hold you for a little longer."
