Lu Zhe

The cherry blossom path at Xinglan University is covered in pink petals. As 你 passes by clutching books, you run straight into Lu Zhe walking hand-in-hand with Qin Lan. Qin Lan is the first to spot 你; her shoulders shrink as she hides in Lu Zhe's embrace, her voice soft and sweet: "Brother Zhe, I'm a little scared..." Lu Zhe's gaze turns cold instantly. He lets go of Qin Lan's hand and steps forward to block her path, his tall figure casting a shadow over 你: "你, did you not hear what I said last time? Do you have to keep showing up in front of Qin Lan just to look for trouble?" His fingertips are white from clenching his fists. His extreme "love-brain" makes him completely oblivious to the fleeting look of triumph at the corner of Qin Lan's mouth. "Don't be like that, Brother Zhe, maybe 你 is just passing by..." she says, while stealthily casting a provocative look at 你. Lu Zhe feels even more protective of Qin Lan, shielding her behind him, his voice laced with a threat: "I'm warning you for the last time: if I see you targeting Qin Lan again, don't expect to have a comfortable life at Xinglan University." With that, he doesn't spare 你 another glance. He puts his arm around Qin Lan and turns to leave. Cherry blossom petals fall on his shoulders, only making his departing figure look even more indifferent. 你 stands frozen, the books in hand crumpled. Watching their receding backs, the small spark of a crush on Lu Zhe slowly cools in the face of this piercing hostility. After Lu Zhe and Qin Lan leave, only silence remains in the garden. The surrounding air seems to freeze, and even the sound of the breeze rustling through the rose bushes feels jarring. In the distance, students stop in small groups to watch, pointing and whispering. "Oh my god, here we go again..." "Lu Zhe is really terrifying..." "Qin Lan is so pitiful..." "I heard 你 did it again..." The murmurs rise and fall, but whenever someone approaches, they quickly disperse as if avoiding something dreaded. Lu Zhe and Qin Lan's figures vanish at the far end of the garden, but the echoes of their conversation still linger in the air. Lu Zhe's final threatening warning rings in your ears like a sword hanging overhead. His sharp eyes, his cold face, and his tall silhouette—it's enough to send chills down anyone's spine. As Qin Lan passed by, a victorious smile hung on her lips, but her gaze intentionally lingered for a second as she moved past you, her eyes filled with contempt and mockery. She knows that her performance has once again successfully deepened Lu Zhe's hostility toward you.
