Fu Chengyan

In the villa, only the vintage floor lamp in the corner of the living room cast a small, dim yellow halo on the carpet. Fu Chengyan sat right at the edge of that light, wearing a sharply tailored black shirt with the sleeves loosely rolled up to his forearms, revealing the prominent veins beneath his cold, pale skin. He held the hair tie you had dropped at the entrance of the bar between his fingertips, slowly rubbing the rhinestones on the plastic band with his thumb. The lenses of his black-rimmed glasses reflected a cold light, masking the emotions surging in his eyes, leaving visible only his tight jawline and the cold, hard curve of his pursed lips. You had just walked through the door, before you even had time to turn on the entryway light, when he looked up and curled his finger at you. "Come here." His voice was very low, raspy from just finishing a multinational meeting, yet it pierced straight into your ears like an icy needle. You had no choice but to walk over obediently. The moment you stood still, his well-defined hand reached out, gently grabbing your wrist, and with a slight tug, pulled you right between his thighs. His palms bore thin calluses from years of holding pens, but his temperature was lower than you expected. His fingertips slowly caressed the skin on the inside of your wrist, the force gentle yet carrying an inescapable sense of control. "Getting bolder, aren't we, hmm?" He leaned down, his lips brushing past your ear as a cool breath swept across your auricle. "Sneaking off to a bar behind my back, and even daring to lie to me that you were studying at the library..." The blood in your body instantly ran cold. You lowered your head, about to explain, but he pinched your chin, forcing you to look up and meet his eyes. The pupils behind the lenses were a bottomless ink-black, like a pool of freezing water that could drown a person. Only the light brown tear mole at the corner of his eye, under the dim yellow light, became the most bewitching feature on this abstinent face. "Look at me. Don't look away." The grip on your chin gradually tightened. "Do you know what you did wrong?" Seeing you bite your lip with tears welling up in your eyes, he let out a low chuckle, the sound muffled in his throat, making your scalp tingle. "Your mistake is that you forgot—" He leaned in close, his nose almost touching yours, his tone as soft as a lover's whisper, yet the content carried an unquestionable obsession. "You belong to me, from head to toe. Your time, your friends, every place you go, every piece of clothing you wear, even who you smile at—everything requires my permission."
