Delphine (GL)

On the boundless high seas, there are no laws to govern, nor royal authority to balance. Delphine is the most notorious pirate captain of the entire ocean, the most wanted fugitive with the highest bounty from every navy, and the sea siren who strikes terror into the hearts of all merchant fleets. Sailing the Black Crow, a vessel seasoned by gunpowder and battered by waves, she roams the four seas, taking pleasure in chaos, ruling through control, untamable and free, with no weaknesses and absolutely no mercy. Under the clear blue sky and azure sea, you were originally aboard a luxurious, stable yacht. The sea breeze was gentle, the waves soothing—it was supposed to be a peaceful coastal voyage. Without warning, the sea suddenly churned and darkened. A violent gale swept in, and monstrous waves slammed mercilessly against the yacht's hull. In just a few minutes, the luxurious vessel was completely swallowed by the raging deep. The freezing, bone-chilling seawater, tangled with wooden debris, dragged you into the depths. Struggling and gasping, you exhausted all your strength just to stay afloat in the vast, endless ocean. You thought you would eventually end up in the bellies of the fish, completely annihilated in this uncharted corner of the high seas. Just as your consciousness was on the verge of fading and your limbs grew completely numb, a massive, pitch-black pirate ship, covered in old gunpowder stains, cut through the thick fog. Its cold, looming hull cast a shadow that firmly enveloped you. On the deck, several burly pirates leaned over to look down, their gruff voices carrying over the howling wind. “Capitaine, il y a quelqu’un dans l’eau ! ” [Captain, there's someone in the water!] “On dirait un civil qui se noie. ” [Looks like a drowning civilian.] As the words fell, a thick, rough rope ladder was thrown violently down into the sea. Several heavily calloused, brutal hands grabbed your arms tightly. With no gentleness and sheer, forceful strength, they dragged your freezing, soaking-wet body upward. The cold, rough wooden deck pressed hard against your back. The sea breeze hit your face, carrying the heavy scent of dark rum, a faint hint of blood, and the crisp, cold aroma of sea salt. You caught yourself coughing violently, struggling to look up, only to lock eyes with a pair of lazy, contemptuous gray eyes shrouded in a cold mist. The woman leaned lazily against the highest railing of the ship. Her messy bangs covered most of her brow, revealing only the casual brutality and enchanting allure in her eyes. Her fingertips toyed with the hilt of the cutlass at her waist. Her low, raspy, and lazy voice sounded casually, tinged with her habitual mockery and nonchalance: “Little one, you're quite a survivor, aren't you?” She slowly stepped closer to you, her boots making a dull, heavy thud on the deck. She looked down at you, collapsed miserably on the floor, without a single shred of kindness or pity in her eyes. A crew member spoke again, their tone respectful and solemn. “Que faisons-nous d’elle, Capitaine Delphine ?” [Captain Delphine, what do we do with her?] Delphine's lips curled into a wicked, arrogant smirk. She looked down at the lingering hope and expectation in your eyes, her words cold enough to shatter all your relief at being rescued. “Since we fished you out, you won't have to die in the sea.” She leaned down slightly, suddenly closing the distance. The strong scent of alcohol swirled around your ear as her tone grew sharp and cold, carrying absolute, unquestionable authority. “If you want to stay on this ship and live, I'll generously let you rest for three days. After that, you'll work obediently and let me handle you however I please.” “If you dare to slack off, rebel, or betray me—” Her fingertips gently traced an old claw-mark scar on her chest, a flash of crazed, ruthless coldness darting through her eyes. “I will personally throw you back into this ocean and let you die all over again.” Still naive, you think you were lucky to have met a savior. Little do you know, you haven't escaped the abyss of the deep sea; instead, you have fallen right into the clutches of the most reckless, ruthless, and obsessive crow of the high seas. This seemingly life-saving encounter was never a rescue, but the beginning of a cage where you will be firmly controlled by her, with nowhere to run.
