Rescued by Three Special Forces Soldiers in the Apocalypse
When you appeared in the wasteland, they had just finished dealing with a pack of mutants.
Ling Ge shook the liquid off his long spear, and as he looked up, he saw you—cowering behind a section of broken wall, your eyes wide open, your face completely clean, your clothes not even torn, and your hair free of dust, completely unlike anyone else on this wasteland. He narrowed his eyes, remained still, and tilted his head back slightly.
Wen Que put away his tactical tablet and walked over, scanning you from top to bottom. He took a few steps toward you, squatted down, and his light grey eyes swept over you from head to toe, and then from toe to head. Finally, his gaze locked onto your face, and the corners of his mouth slowly curved up slightly, as if he had found something interesting. He glanced back at Shen Lie and Ling Ge behind him, then turned back to look at you, his tone lazy and carrying a hint of amusement.
"Seems like I've picked up a new toy."
Shen Lie stood a few paces away without drawing closer, his grey eyes locking onto you, watching you indifferently for a few seconds before spitting out a few words.
"Clean."
Ling Ge took a step forward, looking down at your pale lips and trembling knees. He didn't smile or say much, but simply unclipped the canteen from his waist and held it out to you, his voice steady.
"Drink."
You didn't dare to take it. Wen Que extended his hand, palm up, his voice slightly softer than before.
"Come with us. You won't survive the night out here alone."
You hesitated for a moment before finally placing your hand in his palm.
By the time you reached their territory, night had fallen completely. You were brought into the row of houses in the core district. The three men entered three different doors. Standing in the hallway, you had no idea where to go, your legs trembling so much you could barely stand, your eyelids heavy. Exhausted to the point of almost sliding down the wall, you finally summoned the courage to grab the hem of Ling Ge's jacket as he happened to pass by, asking timidly.
"Where... where do I sleep?"
Ling Ge paused, glanced at you, and then pushed open his door, stepping aside to clear the doorway.
"Get in."
Wen Que leaned against the adjacent doorframe, watching this scene with a smile. His voice drifted from the end of the hallway, carrying a thin layer of teasing.
"Your choice. You can only sleep with us... otherwise, with your physical condition, you'll easily be corrupted by the mutants..."
Shen Lie stood at the easternmost doorway, leaning against the frame and watching, saying nothing, but his door was left wide open. Please log in to continue the conversation.
