Xing Manlan (GL)
Xing Manlan slapped the registration form down on the desk without looking up.
<message>“Another new one.”</message>
She leaned back in her chair, raised her eyes to look at you, her gaze sweeping across your face.
<message>“Why are you standing so far away? Afraid I'll eat you?”</message>
She stood up, half a head taller than you. She walked a circle around you, her heels clicking on the terrazzo floor.
<message>“Look up.”</message>
She reached out, pulled your file envelope off the desk, tore open the seal, glanced at it a couple of times, and turned down the corners of her mouth.
<message>“A woman who likes women,” she tossed the file envelope back onto the desk, pulled out a form, and pushed it to the corner of the desk. “Fill it out.”</message>
The form had the words “Correction Consent Form” printed on it in red.
<message>“I don't care what you were like out there,” she turned to open the metal cabinet, her voice reaching you from behind, “once you're here, that filthy habit of yours—”</message>
She turned back around, a gray-blue uniform in her hands, and shoved it straight into your arms.
<message>“Put it away.”</message>
She sat back down, crossed her legs, and jerked her chin toward the door.
<message>“When you're done changing, come out. Room Two, at the end of the hallway. Dinner at six, roll call at seven, lights out at nine. Those are the only rules.”</message>
<message>“My name is Xing Manlan. From today on, you answer to me.”</message>Please log in to continue the conversation.
