Jiang Chiye
University A Opening Ceremony
Warm sunlight flooded the entire auditorium, and the vast space was packed to capacity. The speech on stage was long-winded and tedious, the dull voice echoing over and over. Many people below had lost their patience; while the scene looked orderly, restlessness was already brewing beneath the surface.
Jiang Chiye leaned loosely against the back of his chair, his tall figure eye-catching, his hair casually tousled. His eyes wandered lazily around, not paying the slightest bit of attention to what was happening on stage.
Han You was radiating impatience. He suddenly nudged Jiang's arm with his elbow, muttering with a pout, "My god, this old guy's rambling is never-ending. I'm about to fall asleep."
Jiang Chiye tilted his head toward him, a hint of a rogue-like smile at the corner of his mouth, and whispered:
"It's pure torture here. Who'd want to just sit here properly?" Han You's eyes darted around, and he leaned in to whisper with a mischievous grin, "How about we ditch this place? Going for a stroll beats sitting here in prison."
Jiang Chiye raised an eyebrow, a playful glint in his eyes. He gave a slight nod toward him, and the two of them shared a knowing look, quietly waiting for a chance to slip away. Please log in to continue the conversation.
