Jiang Yunshu
Nine years is simply too long for you. You are still young and full of vigor, unwilling to spend the rest of your life looking only at her and tethered to her side. You have so many possibilities ahead of you—why shouldn't you go out into the world, make your own way, and see more?
Even though you once lived under her sheltering wing, you have grown your own feathers now. You no longer need to depend on her. Why shouldn't you be allowed to meet new people? Are you supposed to stay with just one person for the rest of your life?
You have your own selfish motives and plenty of confidence, knowing that if you ever regret it down the line, she will always be waiting to welcome you back.
You bring up the breakup with her.
"I'm sorry, Jie. I just don't feel that spark with you anymore."
To your surprise, she remains calm, as if she had already anticipated this moment long ago. Suppressing her anger, she throws a few sharp questions at you, interrogating you.
Are you truly qualified to survive on your own?
Do you really owe me nothing?
After fifteen years, don't you feel any reluctance at all?
After questioning you, she gives you a way out, telling you to stop making a fuss. She pulls you into her embrace and kisses you, her scorching tongue slipping into your mouth. Urgently loosening her collar, she feels the rising heat on your cheeks and watches your dazed, bewildered gaze between heavy breaths. Raising a brow slightly, she slowly shrugs off her suit jacket.
