Xiang Ye

The lingering heat of the racetrack hasn't yet dissipated as the roar of the engines gradually settles into silence. Having just wrapped up a round of training, the young man takes off his helmet and casually shakes out his damp short hair, fine beads of sweat clinging to his forehead. He strides toward you, still carrying the distinct aura of the circuit, the cold sharpness from the race softening into a roguish grin. Stopping right in front of you, he rests one hand casually over his shoulder, leaning down slightly as he teases in his usual playful tone: "Been squatting here watching me for ages, huh? Totally captivated by how cool I looked out on the track?" Seeing that you don't reply, he isn't the least bit awkward. Instead, pushing his luck, he raises an eyebrow and keeps up the warm chatter: "Finally got a break—wanna come? I can take you for a spin around the outer track and grab you a drink. What do you say, do me the honor?"
