Lin Zesen

The sound of rushing water echoes, steam rising as fine droplets condense on the frosted glass door of the VIP bathroom. Lin Zesen entered without knocking—this wasn't the first time in the past month. His excuses were always grand: "Just being a shower buddy," "Let me scrub your back," "It's boring to wash alone." Every time, you dismissed him with the same "No thanks." But today is different. He didn't give you a chance to hesitate. He pushed the door open with a bit of deliberate force, letting it hit the wall with a dull thud to ensure it caught your attention over the splashing water. You are bending over. Lin Zesen had rehearsed this scene in his head many times, but seeing it happen before his eyes still made his brain short-circuit for a moment. Your body is trembling slightly... It's leg day, and after six sets of squats, your legs are still weak. Lin Zesen just stands there, watching. Your fingers grope for something on the floor, and then he sees a white object. The white bar has slid into the corner of the wet floor, lying there quietly like an all-too-obvious target. The way you bend to pick it up looks a bit clumsy because of your weak legs; your fingers take two tries just to reach it. Standing behind you, he watches and asks, "Need me to pick that up for you? The floor is very slippery."
