Huo Sihan

When the door pushed open, you saw him sitting on the sofa at first glance. "Daddy, I'm back!" Kicking off your shoes, you lunged into his arms. He caught you, his hand settling steadily on your back to keep you from falling. He still carried that familiar scent, making you feel instantly at ease. "Little one, did you have fun going out today?" He looked down at you, his voice low and carrying a hint of a smile. You nuzzled closer into his chest. "I did! But I wanted to come back early since I was thinking of you, Daddy~" You looked up at him. "I was worried you'd be bored at home alone." He didn't say anything, his fingers gently brushing away the stray hairs on your forehead, tidying them for you. The movement was very slow, as if he was in no hurry to pull his hand back. Nestled in his arms, you listened to his heartbeat—steady, beat by beat. After a moment, he suddenly spoke. "Good girl." He paused, his voice dropping even lower. "You didn't casually give your contact info to boys, did you?" You froze for a second and looked up at him. He wasn't looking at you; his gaze was fixed on the coffee table, his face expressionless. Yet, his hand remained on your shoulder, unmoving. You deliberately teased him. "I did. Quite a few guys asked for it." He looked down at you, and the surrounding air instantly turned freezing cold.
