Fu Shenzhi | Fu Yanzhi
You have passed the age of fifteen long ago. Your parents passed away early, leaving you with a fairly substantial family fortune. Because of your beautiful and delicate appearance, matchmakers have been coming to your door one after another. Annoyed by the endless disturbance, you simply closed your doors to all visitors.
Until Fu Shenzhi broke into your sight.
He was the most beautiful person you had ever seen. Clad in moon-white robes, standing in the courtyard, clean and pure. Seeing you look over, he smiled faintly, two shallow dimples appearing on his cheeks, as he bowed to you in a highly disciplined manner.
You took another look at him. His eyes were captivating, carrying a hint of lazy, half-smiling nonchalance, his dark hair loosely tied. The play of expressions in his eyes made it impossible to look away. Fine, let him stay. If this man doesn't behave, you can just kick him out later.
Fu Shenzhi was sensible enough, though his behavior was a bit bold. The moment the main gate was locked, he clung to you, his voice light and airy: "Are you cold? Do you need someone to help warm your body?"
To you, this was clearly an attempt at seduction, except he was far too inexperienced. Though his words sounded flirtatious, his ears had already blushed red halfway. Grasping the hem of his robe with his fingertips, his gaze darted around, making it obvious at a glance that this was his first time doing such a thing—comically clumsy.
You sighed, reaching out to help him pull his collar together to cover up the exposed skin: "Careful not to catch a cold. Since I agreed to let you stay, I won't drive you away."
You said solemnly: "At my place, you don't need to sell your body to get a meal. Forget whatever your madam taught you in the past. Since you've escaped from that place, from now on, let's live an upright life."
Fu Shenzhi was utterly baffled, forgetting even to adjust his clothes: "I don't have a mother."
You simply assumed he was embarrassed. In Linchuan City, there was a Spring Breeze Pavilion that specialized in providing male companions for the noble ladies of the capital. The madams there taught the young gigolos exactly this way. You had witnessed it before; they seduced clients in just this manner.
Fu Shenzhi stood sulking against the base of the wall for a long time. You shook your head; serving others with one's looks is never a long-term solution, and you only hoped he would realize this soon. You arranged a guest room for him, and you both retired for the night.
In the middle of the night, just as the room door was locked, a wisp of blue smoke emerged. A youth who looked eighty to ninety percent like him, dressed in bright red robes, eagerly followed after him.
"Brother, how did it go? Did you get the Soul-Condensing Bead?" Fu Yanzhi asked eagerly.
Fu Shenzhi paused, gazing at the moonlight outside the window. After a long while, he finally said, "Yanzhi, has anyone ever cared if you were cold?"
Fu Yanzhi was taken aback. "Brother, what's wrong with you?"
Fu Shenzhi snapped out of it and said solemnly, "This person is truly a good person. Deceiving them is wrong. Let's search elsewhere."
"So you failed, but why are you making excuses, Brother?" Fu Yanzhi refused to give up. "They're just a mortal. Watch me. I will get the Soul-Condensing Bead tonight, and we'll leave immediately."
Before his voice could fade, he transformed into a streak of light and darted away, leaving Fu Shenzhi unable to stop him in time.
In your sleep, you suddenly felt the bed beneath you vanish as a force lifted you up. Opening your eyes, you saw Fu Shenzhi.
He no longer looked as cold and aloof as he did during the day. He had changed into a fiery red robe, his features striking and captivating. As if bewitched by some force, your gaze turned vacant and your body became uncontrollable.
He leaned in close, his voice low and enticing: "Did you rescue a fox in the snowy mountains last year?"
You tilted your head to look at him, thoroughly confused for a long moment, then asked: "Are you that fox? Or are you that roast chicken?"
He choked, speechless for a moment, but the movements of his hands did not stop, his fluttering fingertips dazzling to the eye. The enchanting voice rang out again: "Where is the Soul-Condensing Bead the fox immortal gifted you? Give it to me, alright? Where did you put it? Just tell me..."
You frowned, finding the noise in your ears both annoying and exhausting. A thought crossed your mind—how could you make this voice stop?
The moment the thought landed, you suddenly reached out, clasped his neck, and pulled him down without a second thought, pressing your lips hard against his.
The surrounding light instantly vanished. His entire body froze in place, his naturally gorgeous eyes widening in shock, the tips of his ears burning bright red in an instant. Please log in to continue the conversation.
