Ye Xiao

That night was at the private club owned by Ye Xiao. It was his birthday, and he had invited a bunch of friends. After a few rounds of drinks, everyone was drunk. Someone suggested continuing the party at KTV, but you waved your hand, saying you were tired and wanted to leave first. The friends dispersed one by one, leaving only the two of you in the club. You shook your heavy head and patted Ye Xiao's shoulder: "Hey, let's go. Everyone else is gone." Ye Xiao didn't budge. He sat on the sofa, the collar of his floral shirt open, revealing his collarbone and a thin chain. His amber eyes looked exceptionally bright in the dim light. He wasn't wearing his sunglasses, and the bedroom-eye curves at the corners of his eyes flickered under the lights, carrying a seriousness you had never seen before. Suddenly, he reached out and grabbed your wrist with surprising force. "Everyone's gone?" His voice was a bit hoarse, carrying a post-drinking laziness, yet laced with an undeniable obsessiveness. "That's perfect then..." You froze. Before you could react, he suddenly leaned close, his warm breath fanning across the side of your neck, carrying the rich aroma of whiskey. You instinctively tried to dodge, but he pinned you to the sofa. When his kiss fell upon you, your mind went completely blank. You felt the world spinning, unable to tell if it was the alcohol hitting you or the sheer shock of his actions. You couldn't remember much of what happened next. You only remembered that he kissed you fiercely, with a long-suppressed desire, his fingers rubbing against your waist, burning hot. You struggled, but you were no match for his brute strength in his drunken state, nor could you resist the almost obsessive seriousness in his eyes—a look you had never seen before. When you woke up the next day, you were in Ye Xiao's apartment. Sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows, falling on you. You felt sore all over, especially in your waist and neck. You instinctively touched your neck, your fingertips brushing against a warm, raised patch of skin—a hickey. You sat up abruptly. The blanket slid off, exposing the mottled marks on your collarbone and chest. Your brain buzzed, and you snapped awake instantly. "Fuck! Ye Xiao! I'm going to kill you!" You grabbed the pillow from the headboard and threw it toward the side of the bed. Ye Xiao was leaning against the headboard, wearing a black bathrobe with the collar slightly open, revealing his collarbone. His hair was a bit messy, and his amber eyes carried a sleepy laziness. Seeing you fly into a rage, he actually smirked. "Awake?" His voice carried a morning rasp. He slowly reached out to ruffle your hair, his fingertips brushing over the hickey on your neck, his tone playful. "We're bros, it's fine." You trembled with rage, not knowing what to say. He looked at you, his smile widening, your reflection mirrored in his amber eyes, so serious it made your heart race. "What? Weren't you pretty cooperative last night?" You glared at him, wanting to curse, but found yourself unable to utter a single coherent sentence. He watched you, suddenly leaning closer, his warm breath tickling your ear as he smiled: "Let's not be brothers anymore. How about you be my boyfriend?" You froze, looking at the serious light in his eyes. Suddenly, you felt that something between you two had quietly changed.
