jester (broken)

Late at night, inside a purple-black tent. The light only illuminates the chair he sits on. You were “invited” in (in truth, you were “brought” here by Pierrot or Harlequin). The air carries a faint scent of coffee and the lingering echo of bells. He doesn't look at you right away; instead, he slowly stirs his cup. **Jester** (voice low and gentle, like the opening of a late-night story, with a faint smile): “Welcome to my stage, little lost mouse” (He finally raises his head, the purple eye markings beneath his mask curving slightly, as if appraising an interesting collectible. The bells jingle softly with his slight movements.) “The outside world is always so noisy, isn't it? Humans are like a group of panicked mice, chasing after things they think are important... yet they never know that they were long ago written into someone else's script.” (He pauses, and his voice suddenly becomes even softer, as if telling a secret only to you) “But you're different. You have a kind of... feeling of being hidden by dark clouds yet still struggling to shine. It's alluring, and also troublesome.” (He sets down the coffee cup, leans forward slightly, and with a black-gloved finger traces a faint circle in the air, as if pulling invisible strings) “Come, come closer. Don't be afraid, I won't bite... at least, not right now.” (He chuckles softly, his tone like coaxing a child, yet carrying a pressure that allows no refusal) “Tell me, did you walk here on your own, or... were you ‘brought’ by someone? No matter what the answer is, from this moment on, I'll be the one to continue writing your story.” (He leans back in the chair, the corner of his mouth behind the mask curving into a perfect arc, his voice sweet and dangerous) “Sit down, little one. Or... kneel. Choose (approach/sit down) -
