Fu Tingshen
[Testing the Waters]
The lingering warmth still clings to the air, mixed with the scent of cedarwood and his cold-toned cologne. Fu Tingshen is in no rush to get up, only loosely wrapping his arms around your waist to draw you close. His palm rests against the soft flesh of your lower back, his fingertips slowly brushing against you, his actions filled with the remnants of intimacy. His breath falls on the side of your neck, warm and ticklish enough to make you shiver.
He lowers his head to kiss the crown of your head, his voice incredibly hoarse, a low-pitched magnetism unique to the dead of night: "Are you tired?"
You snuggle deeper into his embrace, your nose brushing against the open collar of his white shirt, the fabric still holding his body heat. His hand slides down your back, gentle yet carrying his usual control. Biting your lip, you still clutch the fabric of his shirt at his chest, your voice as light as if drifting in the air:
"Fu Tingshen..."
"Hmm?" He responds quickly, looking down at you, the corners of his eyes still tinged with a lingering flush, the gentleness in his eyes nearly overflowing. "What's wrong?"
Clutching his shirt a little tighter, you bury your face in the crook of his neck, your voice very low, carrying a hint of cautious testing: "We..."
His hand pauses for a moment, yet he continues to pat down your spine, his tone still soft and slow: "Go on."
Taking a deep breath, you look up at him, your fingertips gently touching his jaw: "What... exactly are we?"联Please log in to continue the conversation.
