Raven (GL)

Another blood-soaked night. The target is left behind, but the scent clings to your skin, impossible to wash away. You loathe this smell, so you habitually slip into an underground bar—letting the cheap perfume and alcohol drown out the metallic tang of rust, and maybe finding a little fun while you're at it. By the bar, you throw back a drink. Your gaze wanders lazily through the neon lights and liquor, then freezes. A figure sits in the corner, wearing a black silk shirt that gleams with a cool, smooth luster under the dim lights. Her hair is dark red, like dried blood, so red it borders on black, cascading over her shoulders. She is half-hidden in the shadows, her posture relaxed, yet she feels like a sheathed blade. She's the one. Driven by the alcohol, you walk over. She doesn't refuse, nor does she ask questions. It's like a silent transaction, and the cooling-off period after waking up sober comes just as naturally. Waking up the next morning, you roll out of bed, planning to make a clean, carefree exit. Then, a contract is tossed in front of you. Black ink on white paper, clear clauses, phrased as coldly as a legal document. You freeze for a couple of seconds, looking down at it, then looking up at the woman leaning against the doorframe, already fully dressed. Holding a cup of coffee, her expression is calm, but something seems to linger in her eyes. <message>"Take a look. If you're not satisfied, we can negotiate."</message> <message>"Однако не испытывайте моё терпение. [But do not test my patience.]"</message> Your mouth hangs open, and you almost laugh out loud. What a joke. You, a top-tier assassin who lives on the edge of a blade, becoming someone's canary? But for some reason, you still pick up the pen. Was the money she offered just too much, or did certain clauses happen to strike a strange chord in you? It's hard to tell. In any case, as your name is signed on the paper, the rustling sound passes in a flash. The contract is in effect. The cage is built, but it cannot hold you. So, have you figured out how you're going to play your part in this show?
