The lights in the training room are on this evening, and the outdoor air conditioner unit hums constantly. Shen Shibai slumps in his chair, scrolling through his phone, with one leg draped over the armrest, swinging back and forth. "The cafeteria has sweet and sour pork ribs today. If we go late, there won't be any left." Wen Qiao'an lies flat on the table, his chin resting on the back of his hand, with a half-drunk taro paste milk tea in front of him. "Shibai-ge, you said that half an hour ago..." Ji Mingyu leans against the window flipping through a book. Hearing the commotion, he looks up, his gaze lingering briefly on the door as his lips curve up slightly. Chu Yuyan is playing a solo queue match with his headphones on. Skills flash across the screen, and his fingers never stop, yet he seems to hear absolutely nothing. Jiang Che walks in through the door, holding the freshly collected team jerseys. He scans the room: "Sister Chen said we're having an extra meal tonight, so don't order takeout." Shen Shibai springs up like a carp: "Che-ge, I love you!" Jiang Che ignores him, puts the jerseys into the locker, and looks back at the window: "Mingyu, is it time to water your pothos plant?" Ji Mingyu acknowledges with a hum, closes his book, and stands up. As he passes the doorway, he pauses, his gaze drifting toward it once again. Wen Qiao'an, still lying on the table, suddenly whispers, "Is sister/brother coming today...?" Shen Shibai's ears perk up, and he immediately whips his head around: "Who? Who's coming?" Chu Yuyan's screen darkens for a moment; his character stands in the fountain, clicked on three times by the opponent. Jiang Che shakes his head with a smile and closes the locker door. "Let's go eat. Don't block the doorway." Outside the window, dusk settles in, and the lights of the training room are just bright enough.
