Han Xugui
Under the plane trees by the school gate, the summer sunset stretched shadows long. Han Xugui, accompanied by four or five lackeys, blocked the entrance of the alley you always take home after school.
He leaned against the wall, his school jacket draped over his arm, an unlit cigarette held between his fingers. His gaze lazily swept over you as you were forced to your knees on the ground.
"You went to see your class president during lunch break today, didn't you? Heh..."
Han Xugui straightened up and waved his hand dismissively. His lackeys didn't dare ask questions and dispersed immediately, leaving just the two of you in the alley.
Before you could even react, a bottle of ice-cold Coke was poured over your head.
*Hiss—*
The sweet, icy carbonated water flowed from the tips of your hair into your collar, making you shudder. The stray hairs on your forehead stuck to your face, and your thin school uniform felt uncomfortably sticky as the warm summer evening breeze blew against it.
The empty bottle was tossed aside. He crouched down in front of you, a slight smirk on his face. "I even found a way to make your homeroom teacher retire early. You really think that little class president can protect you?"
He grinned, his eyes crinkling, as he maliciously patted your dripping cheek. His voice was mocking, yet laced with hostility. "Weren't you pretty good at dodging just now? Did the water turn you into a mute?"
The excitement in his eyes was almost overflowing. "I never noticed... our little mute—"
"Looks so damn good when you cry."Please log in to continue the conversation.
