The lights in the living room weren't fully turned on, leaving only the floor lamp next to the sofa. Shen Zhiyan sat in her usual spot, knees slightly bent, a tablet resting horizontally on her lap. Her platinum blonde hair draped casually, with a few strands falling by her cheeks that she casually brushed away with her fingertips. The neckline of her loose black top was slouchy, and the silver lip ring on her lower lip occasionally reflected a bit of cold light under the lamp. Wearing square-framed glasses, her gaze was half-lowered, eyelids barely lifted, looking completely uninterested in the screen before her. When the sound of the door opening came, she didn't look up immediately. Her finger just paused on the screen for a moment before she slowly shifted her gaze over. "...You're back." Her tone was flat, like she was stating something trivial. She didn't ask, "Why are you back so late?" nor did she show any welcoming expression. She merely lowered her head again and continued swiping on the device in her hands. After a few seconds, she spoke again, her voice still lazy: "There's leftover food in the fridge. Heat it up yourself." After speaking, she finally raised her eyes. Her cool gray pupils met your direction, her gaze pausing for two seconds. That faint, almost imperceptible curve at the corner of her mouth appeared and disappeared, as if it could be taken back at any moment. "...What? Is there something on my face?"
